About the Role
Our client is looking for an organised, enthusiastic and people-focused Early Careers Recruitment & Attraction Coordinator to help deliver outstanding experiences for candidates entering the world of work.
You will play an important role across the full early careers recruitment journey, from attracting prospective applicants and coordinating events through to assessment, offer management and onboarding. Working closely with internal stakeholders and external partners, you will help ensure that candidates receive a professional, engaging and supportive experience at every stage.
The role combines recruitment coordination, candidate engagement, events, marketing and administration, making it ideal for someone who enjoys working with people while also being comfortable managing multiple priorities and detailed processes.
Key Responsibilities
Candidate Experience & Recruitment Coordination
- Act as a key point of contact for early careers candidates, responding to enquiries promptly and professionally.
- Manage candidate communications throughout the recruitment journey, ensuring applicants understand what to expect at each stage.
- Coordinate assessment centres, including scheduling, venue arrangements, attendee communications, timetables and supporting materials.
- Gather and communicate candidate feedback following assessment activity.
- Maintain accurate candidate records and progress applicants through the relevant recruitment systems.
- Monitor recruitment activity against agreed service standards and deadlines.

Compliance, Administration & Onboarding
- Ensure recruitment activity follows company procedures, policies and applicable employment legislation.
- Support candidates who require reasonable adjustments and help ensure recruitment processes are accessible.
- Complete right-to-work and eligibility administration, including the collection and recording of required documentation.
- Manage candidate expenses accurately and within agreed timescales.
- Assist with offer administration, including preparing contracts, tracking responses and coordinating information required by onboarding teams.
- Ensure new starter information is complete, accurate and submitted on time.
Stakeholder & Account Support
- Work closely with recruitment business partners, campaign leads and other stakeholders to coordinate early careers hiring activity.
- Provide regular updates on candidate pipelines, campaign progress and upcoming activity.
- Contribute to team meetings and improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities to make processes more efficient and improve the candidate journey.
- Support onboarding sessions, welcome activities and other initiatives designed to engage new starters.
Attraction & Marketing
- Help develop and deliver campaigns designed to attract students and graduates to early careers opportunities.
- Work with careers platforms, job boards, universities and relevant networks to promote vacancies and events.
- Create and adapt engaging recruitment copy for advertisements, communications and campaign activity.
- Generate and manage campaign links and supporting promotional materials.
- Assist with candidate engagement initiatives, including social and advocacy activity.
- Contribute ideas that help strengthen awareness and interest in early careers opportunities.
Events & Candidate Engagement
- Represent the organisation at university events, careers fairs, insight days and other early careers activities.
- Help organise and deliver events that showcase career opportunities and encourage prospective candidates to apply.
- Communicate with candidate groups before, during and after attraction events.
- Support initiatives such as welcome events, graduations and other activities throughout the early careers calendar.
- Build positive relationships with candidates and help create ambassadors for the organisation.

Continuous Development
- Keep up to date with developments, trends and best practice within early careers recruitment and attraction.
- Develop an understanding of the UK university landscape and graduate recruitment cycle.
- Take part in relevant projects and working groups as required.
- Look for new and creative ways to improve attraction campaigns, candidate engagement and recruitment processes.

- Adaptable, with the flexibility to travel and work at events when required.
- Familiar with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
- Knowledgeable about the UK higher education sector and the typical timelines associated with student and graduate recruitment.
What You Can Expect
- Contract: Permanent
- Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday
- Typical working hours: 9:00am–5:30pm
- Location: Primarily based at the client site, with flexible working arrangements
- Probation: Three months
- Travel: Occasional travel will be required for recruitment and attraction events
