About The Role
Unity Care Solutions are seeking an experienced Recruitment Coordinator to oversee the recruitment of Registered Nurses and Healthcare Assistants within our Kent Branch in Maidstone.
You will have experience of high volume recruitment within a regulated industry, specialising in recruiting and inducting skilled individuals with the relevant qualifications and experience into roles which provide complex care to our clients.
You will work closely with our operational team members to navigate the complex but rewarding world of social care, ensuring our staff are competent to deliver the highest standards of care.
This position requires strong communication skills, relationship management abilities, and familiarity with various recruitment technologies.
Duties Will Include:
- Leading the recruitment process for the Branch from start to finish, including advertising, shortlisting, interviewing, and onboarding.
- Responsibility for onboarding compliance, including processing of references, DBSs, and contracts.
- Delivery of positive and meaningful inductions and training sessions within the branch.
- Maintaining recruitment records and reporting on progress.
- Attendance at job fairs and recruitment functions, and involvement in local and national recruitment projects to increase candidacy levels.
- Creation of staff files, ensuring these are compliant and contain all necessary components.
- Having an awareness of the recruitment needs of the Branch, and supporting the management team by recruiting staff into priority service locations and positions.
- Liaise with other business areas around new starters.
- Maintain awareness of sector-specific recruitment initiatives to drive recruitment within the social care landscape.
- Auditing of staff files and employee compliance.
- Contacting suitable candidates and conducting screening sessions.

About You
You will have experience working in a similar recruitment role. This will ideally be from working within health & social care, and will already have a good understanding of regulatory compliance requirements under the Care Quality Commission.
You will have gained relevant experience working within a high-volume recruitment-based role, and will therefore understand the vital role recruitment plays within the health & social care sector.
What is essential, is that you are friendly, engaging, and solution-focused, and can make a positive impact to our recruitment strategy.
