Description
Lead the growth and delivery of Specialist Services Recruitment, primarily across change & transformation functions for our clients within the Insurance industry.
This position holds responsibility for originating, delivering, and continuous performance improvement of executive search, contingent, high volume, and MSP projects.
Key Responsibilities

Revenue Growth & Business Development
- Own and deliver revenue growth
- Originate new propositions across executive and specialist hiring
- Build and expand senior client relationships across Client sectors
- Position Davies as a strategic recruitment partner

Specialist Recruitment Delivery & Client Outcomes
- Lead end-to-end delivery of retained and contingent Specialist Recruitment assignments
- Ensure high-quality candidate pipelines aligned to client needs
- Drive outcome-focused delivery (quality of hire, time to hire, retention, etc.)
- Act as escalation point for complex or high-profile searches

Leadership & Team Development
- Build, lead, and develop a high-performing team
- Set clear performance expectations and drive accountability
- Coach consultants on client engagement, search strategy, and delivery
- Create a culture of ownership, pace, and quality

Client Engagement & Advisory
- Operate as a trusted advisor on hiring strategy, market insight, and talent mapping
- Support clients with workforce planning and organizational design where relevant
- Move conversations from reactive hiring to planned, strategic search

Commercial Management
- Own pricing, deal structuring, and commercial models for search engagements
- Drive outcome-focused commercial conversations
- Maintain strong profit margins and cost discipline

Integration with Davies Consulting
- Align capability with broader Davies Consulting propositions (MS, Business Transformation / People Development / Techn Advisory)
- Support cross-sell into existing client accounts
- Contribute to integrated client solutions and proposals

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
- Proven experience in senior and specialist recruitment / executive search, specifically across the Insurance industry.
- Track record of revenue generation through client business development, client expansion, and cross-selling services/solutions
- Strong commercial acumen
- Autonomous in deal management (360 including oversight of delivery functions)
- Ability to operate at C-suite / senior stakeholder level
- Experience building and leading high-performing teams (with time)
