Company Description

Blackmont Consulting Cyprus Branch is a student-led consulting hub located on the island of Cyprus, focused on blending academic learning with social impact. The branch connects undergraduate and postgraduate students with local businesses, NGOs, nonprofits, and early-stage ventures to deliver pro bono consulting services. By addressing real challenges with research-driven solutions, the team helps organizations that may lack access to traditional consulting support. Students gain practical experience, leadership development, and cross-cultural collaboration opportunities in one of the Mediterranean’s emerging innovation landscapes. Through mentorship and hands-on projects, the Cyprus branch supports meaningful initiatives while preparing the next generation of socially conscious leaders.

Role Description

The Recruitment Intern (Volunteer) – students only – is an internship role focused on supporting the recruitment and outreach activities of Blackmont Consulting Cyprus Branch. In this remote position, the intern assists with sourcing and screening student applicants, coordinating interviews, and maintaining candidate records. Day-to-day tasks may include:

The intern collaborates with team members to ensure a smooth onboarding experience and contributes to initiatives that promote diversity, inclusion, and engagement within the student consulting community. This role offers practical experience in talent acquisition and stakeholder communication, tailored to current students seeking hands-on exposure to recruitment and consulting environments.

Qualifications

  • Ability to conduct basic candidate sourcing and screening, manage application data, and support interview coordination.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for outreach, candidate correspondence, and collaboration with internal teams.
  • Organizational and time-management abilities to handle multiple recruitment tasks, meet deadlines, and work independently in a remote setting.
  • Interest in human resources, recruitment, consulting, or related fields, with a willingness to learn and take initiative.
  • Currently enrolled as an undergraduate or postgraduate student (any discipline), with proficiency in English; familiarity with the Cyprus or broader Mediterranean context is an advantage.
  • Comfort with online collaboration tools and basic digital platforms used for recruiting and project communication.
  • Demonstrated professionalism, ethical conduct, and commitment to non-discriminatory, inclusive practices in candidate engagement.
