Are you an experienced aviation professional looking for your next challenge? Do you have experience with Manchester airport recruiting and delivering to peak demand? Would you like to play a key role in one of the UK's leading airport workforce solutions businesses? If so, we'd love to hear from you.
At Optime, we're building dedicated Service Delivery Teams that take ownership of client success across our airport network. We're looking for a Recruitment Team Leader to become the Recruitment and Delivery expert within our Manchester Service Delivery Team, supporting Manchester, Liverpool and Belfast City Airports.
This is not a traditional management role. Instead, you'll be the operational lead for recruitment delivery, working alongside airport stakeholders and the Service Delivery Manager to ensure best in class candidates are deployed and their journey with Optime.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
