FJA are currently recruiting for an experienced Recruitment Manager on behalf of our client based in the Bolton area.

About the Role

Reporting to the Head of People & Development, this is an exciting opportunity to join a busy and growing team. You will manage the end-to-end recruitment cycle, as well as working behind the scenes to review recruitment data, forecast requirements, and ensure all recruitment activities are in line with departmental policies and budgets.

We are looking for a confident communicator who can multitask and organise their workload effectively.

  • Salary: Between £40,000 - £45,000
  • Shift Patterns: Negotiable - core hours 37.5 hours per week, Monday – Friday

Recruitment Manager Responsibilities

  • Attraction and Retention: High quality, well documented processes, and engagement (briefing, solutions, communication and reporting).
  • Social Media Presence: Actively involved in ensuring a social media presence of the brand, including ongoing development of the People section of the website.
  • Candidate Experience: Manage the candidate experience at all stages of the recruitment process, including maintaining regular contact.
  • Recruitment Planning: Effectively plan recruitment requirements, advising on a broad range of talent acquisition initiatives such as pipelining, diversity and manpower planning.
  • Centralised Service: Facilitate a centralised recruitment service to the business promoting fairness, inclusion and respect.
  • Hiring Needs: Manage all hiring needs and build ongoing pipeline of suitable candidates aligned to the organisation’s values and culture.
  • HR System: Ensure all candidates are logged and processed through the HR system.
  • Recruitment Events: Support large scale recruitment events such as job fairs, direct hire events and other community events.
  • Apprentice and Graduate Recruitment: Manage apprentice and graduate recruitment and talent pipelines, including the planning and co-ordination of assessment days.
  • Induction: Participate in the induction of new starters.
  • Continuous Improvement: Seek continuous improvement opportunities by reviewing feedback.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the operational teams and academic institutions to promote apprenticeships / graduates within the different disciplines and recruit the right talent into the business.
  • Vendor Management: Review and management of vendors, agencies to drive cost and efficiencies in the recruiting function.
  • Metrics Review: Drive a consistent review of recruiting metrics and make data driven decisions which move the organisation toward further efficiency.

The Successful Recruitment Manager Must Have The Following Experience

  • Experience: Desirable 5 Years experience or significant experience within a similar role.
  • Talent Acquisition: Experience of full life cycle talent acquisition.
  • Direct Recruitment: Significant direct recruitment experience across all levels, including candidates working on site or in the field (desirable).
  • Talent Pipelines: Experienced in managing talent pipelines.
  • Social Media and Job Boards: Proficient use of social media and job boards.
  • ATS and Databases: Working knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and databases.
  • Microsoft Office: Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office products / internet and emails.
