Build. Lead. Grow.
We are looking for an experienced Recruitment Manager with a strong background in HR recruitment to take a leading role in building and developing our HR recruitment practice across the South of England.
This is an exciting opportunity for a well-networked recruitment professional who knows the HR market, understands how to build long-term client relationships and, importantly, wants the opportunity to build a specialist recruitment offering rather than simply inherit an existing desk.
The opportunity:
We already have an established HR recruitment capability, led from our Manchester headquarters. We now want to replicate and grow that success across the South of England.
As Recruitment Manager – HR, you will take ownership of developing the HR recruitment market across the south, creating new relationships, growing existing opportunities and establishing us as a recognised recruitment partner within the HR community.
Under the leadership of our Director for Corporate Functions, you will play a key role in developing this strategic practice and introducing our wider solutions to your clients. This is about going beyond traditional recruitment and understanding the broader challenges our clients face, enabling us to provide complex, tailored talent solutions that address their wider workforce and talent requirements.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
