Recruitment Manager - Apprenticeships

Location: City Centre, Manchester with some travel around Greater Manchester required

Annual Salary: £30,000 - £36,000

Hours: 9.30am - 5.30pm Monday - Friday - office based

About the Role

Our client, an established apprenticeship training provider, is seeking a dynamic and motivated Recruitment Manager to lead their recruitment function. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful impact by connecting people with successful career pathways.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Learner Recruitment and Admissions: Manage the entire learner recruitment journey, from initial enquiry to successful apprenticeship placement and induction. Conduct interviews and provide clear guidance to prospective apprentices.
  • Employer Engagement: Develop and maintain strong relationships with employers. Identify new apprenticeship vacancies and ensure suitable applicants are matched to available roles.
  • Data Management: Utilise recruitment systems to maintain accurate records, monitor performance against targets, and provide insightful reports to senior management.
  • Safeguarding Commitment: Uphold safeguarding and child protection policies, ensuring a safe and inclusive recruitment experience.

Essential Skills:

  • Experience in recruitment within apprenticeships, education, or a related field.
  • Understanding of regulations surrounding apprenticeships.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with employers.
  • Ability to manage multiple applicants and vacancies simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with databases and recruitment management systems.

Additional Information:

The role involves regular travel to employers, schools, and careers events, making a driving licence and access to a car advantageous. Flexibility may be required for evening events.
