A well-established organisation is seeking a People Officer to join its People team on a part-time basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and proactive administrator to support a busy recruitment function, ensuring a smooth and positive experience for both candidates and hiring managers. Working closely with the wider People team, you'll play a key role in coordinating recruitment activities and supporting the onboarding of new employees.

Due to the nature of this role, candidates will need to be immediately available.

  • βœ” Manage and respond to recruitment inbox enquiries
  • βœ” Coordinate interviews with candidates and hiring managers
  • βœ” Prepare and send interview invitations and recruitment communications
  • βœ” Follow up with candidates to confirm attendance and availability
  • βœ” Advertise vacancies across a range of external job boards and recruitment platforms
  • βœ” Prepare and issue offer letters and recruitment documentation
  • βœ” Send onboarding and probation-related communications to new starters
  • βœ” Support recruitment administration throughout the hiring process
  • βœ” Assist with right to work, onboarding, and new starter activities where required
  • βœ” Provide administrative support to the wider People team and assist with recruitment projects and process improvements

  • βœ” Previous experience within an administrative, recruitment, HR, or People Services role
  • βœ” Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • βœ” Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • βœ” A high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • βœ” Experience coordinating interviews, meetings, or diary management
  • βœ” Confident using Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • βœ” Professional and customer-focused approach when dealing with candidates and stakeholders
  • βœ” Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • βœ” Experience handling confidential information appropriately
