Recruitment Officer
My client is seeking a dedicated Recruitment Officer to manage and execute the full recruitment lifecycle, ensuring our organisation attracts, evaluates, and retains high-quality talent that aligns with our goals and culture. This role involves close collaboration with hiring managers, HR teams, and external networks to secure the best candidates while maintaining compliance with legal and organisational policies.
Day-to-day Of The Role
Recruitment & Talent Acquisition:
- Work with department heads to assess staffing needs and identify current and future skills gaps.
- Develop and implement recruitment strategies that attract qualified candidates through job boards, social media, professional networks, and industry events.
- Manage job postings on relevant platforms, maintain Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), and proactively source candidates through direct outreach and referrals.
- Conduct application reviews, phone or video screenings, coordinate interview schedules, and assist hiring managers during the selection process.
- Evaluate candidate suitability, provide recommendations, negotiate employment offers, and ensure contracts comply with company standards and employment laws.

Onboarding & Integration:
- Facilitate smooth onboarding for new hires, providing guidance, resources, and necessary training to ease their integration into the organisation.
Compliance & Reporting:
- Ensure all recruitment practices adhere to legal and organisational policies.
- Maintain accurate records of candidates and recruitment processes.
- Generate recruitment metrics and reports to support HR decision-making.
Additional Contributions:
- Collaborate with HR to enhance employer branding and recruitment processes.
- Stay informed about labor market trends and emerging recruitment practices.
- Plan and coordinate recruitment events, including graduate programs and specialised talent initiatives.
- Support administrative aspects of recruitment campaigns including contracts, candidate correspondence, and documentation.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience in recruitment or a similar role within HR.
- Strong understanding of full lifecycle recruiting and employer branding techniques.
- Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and HR databases.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of employment laws and compliance regulations.
