Are you starting your career as a Recruiter, or a recent graduate looking to build a career in Recruitment? Are you organised, process-driven, confident communicating with people and keen to learn? Do you have impeccable verbal and written English skills and attention to detail?
We are looking for a Recruitment Officer to join the Fairlie Healthcare Group. This is an excellent opportunity for someone at the start of their career who is looking to gain hands-on experience within a busy healthcare recruitment environment.
At Fairlie Healthcare, we operate three specialised care centres across West Norwood, Purley and Banstead, providing care for people with complex neurological and respiratory conditions.

About The Role
Working closely with the Recruitment Manager, you will support the full recruitment process across the Group, helping to ensure vacancies are filled efficiently while providing a professional and positive candidate experience.
You will be required to travel between our three centres when required.
What Will You Be Doing?
- Supporting the recruitment process from initial application through to onboarding
- Creating and maintaining accurate candidate records using ATS Cezanne and HRIS CIPHR
- Advertising vacancies and supporting candidate sourcing
- Pre-screening candidates and arranging interviews
- Communicating with candidates and hiring managers throughout the recruitment process
- Coordinating interviews across our three centres
- Collecting references, documentation and relevant certificates
- Supporting recruitment compliance and right-to-work checks
- Maintaining accurate and confidential recruitment records
- Assisting with general recruitment and HR administration
- Supporting the Recruitment Manager with various recruitment projects and activities

What Are We Looking For?
We are looking for someone who is keen to learn and develop a career in healthcare recruitment. Previous recruitment experience is helpful but not essential.
You will ideally have:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to your work
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills
- A process-driven mindset and the ability to follow procedures accurately
- Confidence communicating with candidates, managers and colleagues
- The ability to handle confidential information professionally
- Good IT skills, particularly Microsoft Word and Excel
- The ability to work independently while also being a strong team player
- A proactive attitude and willingness to take ownership of tasks
Healthcare or recruitment experience would be an advantage but is not essential. What matters most is your attitude, attention to detail, communication skills and willingness to learn.
Important Requirements
- You must have full right to work in the UK without sponsorship. We are unable to accept applications from candidates requiring sponsorship.
- You must be able to travel between our Purley, West Norwood and Banstead centres. Due to the location of our centres, access to your own transport would be advantageous.
- You must be comfortable working in a role where confidentiality and accuracy are essential.
- You must be willing to learn and follow UK recruitment and right-to-work requirements.
