Recruitment Team Support Specialist
To give the Recruitment Team the operational capacity to move prospective AR firms through the full pipeline efficiently; from enquiry and FCA/committee submission readiness, through onboarding, to a well-supported first 12 months post-appointment; supporting the National Recruitment Manager with new entrants into the network and ensuring a successful transition and alignment with network standards and processes, while freeing up senior recruitment stakeholders to focus on relationship-building and commercial negotiation.
Responsibilities:
- Main contact for new firm principals from enquiry through to application completion, committee and FCA submission readiness, and oversight into the On-Boarding team.
- Collate and prepare pipeline firm information required for internal committees and FCA submissions, ensuring accuracy and completeness ahead of deadlines.
- Ensure application forms are accurate, complete and satisfy recruitment criteria prior to submission to the On-Boarding team.
- Act as the conduit for enquiries between On-Boarding and Sesame Sales teams.
- Manage the prospect database to generate targeted proposition campaigns.
- Proactively generate (pre-approved) marketing materials to promote Sesame to prospects and follow-up actions; liaise with Marketing to fulfil internal and external marketing requirements, including gathering requested assets from firms.
- Work with the Finance team and prospect firm during the novation process, including oversight of all documentation.
- Complete all funding request documentation for presentation to the Finance Director/CFO.
- Support the On-Boarding team with any issues that arise during the due diligence process.
- Complete required documentation for any non-standard recruits and seek the necessary approval.
- Support the RKAM/TAM handover process once a firm is appointed, remaining proactive and engaged through the firm's first 12 months to support a smooth transition and strong early relationship.
- Own follow-up actions from meetings, tracking them through to completion and ensuring deadlines are met.
- Review and adapt internal Recruitment Team processes to identify and deliver time efficiencies.
- Support the "Pay Me Journey" project — the development of a new commissions system via OneView.
- Provide ad-hoc administrative support to the National Recruitment Manager to optimise their time with attracting new entrants.
- Undertake ad hoc projects and duties as and when required, to support the needs of the business or to achieve departmental objectives.
- Share responsibility with the National Recruitment Manager for achievement of the headcount growth target.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
