We're looking for a proactive, people-focused Recruitment & Onboarding Specialist who will play a key role in attracting great talent and delivering an outstanding onboarding experience for every new colleague who joins Lynas.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced recruiter who enjoys building relationships, finding great people and creating positive experiences from the very first conversation through to a successful first day and beyond.

What You'll Be Doing

Working closely with our HR Business Partner and hiring managers across the business, you'll take ownership of recruitment delivery and onboarding activity across a wide range of roles, including operational, commercial and support functions.

Your responsibilities will include:

Recruitment

  • Managing vacancies from approval through to offer stage
  • Writing engaging job adverts and promoting opportunities across multiple channels
  • Sourcing candidates using LinkedIn, job boards, referrals, networking and direct searches
  • Screening applications and conducting initial candidate assessments
  • Coordinating interviews and supporting managers throughout the selection process
  • Building talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs
  • Managing candidate communications and delivering a first-class recruitment experience
  • Working with recruitment agencies where required

Onboarding

  • Coordinating the onboarding journey from offer acceptance to induction
  • Preparing contracts, offer letters and onboarding documentation
  • Ensuring all pre-employment checks and right-to-work documentation are completed
  • Managing new starter communications and onboarding schedules
  • Supporting managers and new colleagues throughout the onboarding process
  • Helping create a welcoming and engaging introduction to life at Lynas

Continuous Improvement

  • Maintaining accurate recruitment records and reporting
  • Supporting recruitment campaigns and talent attraction initiatives
  • Assisting with careers fairs, recruitment events and employer branding activities
  • Identifying opportunities to improve recruitment and onboarding processes

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who is organised, enthusiastic and genuinely passionate about helping people find the right opportunities. You'll be confident working in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple vacancies and building strong relationships with candidates and hiring managers alike.

Essential

  • Previous experience in recruitment, talent acquisition or recruitment consultancy
  • Experience managing multiple vacancies simultaneously
  • Strong sourcing skills across LinkedIn, job boards and other recruitment platforms
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and work independently
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office

Desirable

  • Experience coordinating onboarding activities
  • Experience using recruitment systems or Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)
  • Knowledge of LinkedIn Recruiter or similar sourcing tools
  • Experience within foodservice, FMCG, logistics, distribution or retail environments
  • CIPD qualification or working towards CIPD
