Location: London or Remote
Start Date: ASAP
End Date: 12 Months, potential to extend
Daily Rate: Competitive, Inside IR35
This is an exciting opportunity to join Deloitte Operations for an engagement with one of our clients.
Are you organised, detail-focused and great at working with people?
We’re looking for a Recruitment & Vetting Administrator to join our busy team and play an important role in ensuring candidates move smoothly through the recruitment, onboarding and vetting process.
This is a varied, fast-paced role where you’ll work closely with Recruiters, Candidates, Hiring Managers and external Vendors, making sure information is accurate, processes are completed efficiently and candidates receive the support they need.
What you’ll be doing
- Managing day-to-day communication with recruiters, candidates, managers and third-party vendors.
- Supporting candidates throughout the onboarding and vetting journey, ensuring they understand what is required.
- Coordinating and monitoring vetting activity, following up where necessary to keep processes moving.
- Liaising with vendors to ensure the appropriate checks are completed and accurate information is received.
- Maintaining and updating spreadsheets, systems and candidate records.
- Checking documentation and information for accuracy and completeness.
- Supporting Legal & Compliance activities, including internal transfers and leavers.
- Handling confidential information with care and maintaining a high level of accuracy at all times.

Experience required:
To strengthen the compliance aspect of the Recruitment Onboarding and Vetting Administrator role, consider including experience such as:
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements: Understanding relevant employment laws, data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR), and industry-specific compliance standards.
- Conducting background checks: Experience managing or coordinating criminal record checks, right-to-work verifications, and reference validations.
- Experience maintaining audit trails: Ensuring all candidate and vendor documentation is accurately recorded and easily accessible for compliance audits.
- Experience supporting internal compliance reviews: Assisting compliance teams with periodic reviews and ensuring adherence to company policies and legal obligations.
- Experience handling confidential information: Managing sensitive candidate and employee data with discretion and in line with privacy policies.
- Previous experience working within a recruitment onboarding / vetting role with strong compliance experience.
- Excellent communication / interpersonal skills with a strong attention to detail and a methodical approach.
- The ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a busy environment.
- A proactive approach and the confidence to take ownership of your workload.
