We are seeking a Recruitment Performance, Reporting and Planning Officer to support with the development of data processes, designed to enhance planning, reporting and delivery across all recruitment teams.
Job Description
This is a data-focused role within recruitment, requiring strong analytical skills and experience in reporting tools such as Power BI and Excel. The successful candidate will be expected to deliver high-quality recruitment reports and data insights to support strategic decision-making.
Your expertise in data analysis and reporting will be essential as you work with recruitment teams to build their data capabilities. You'll work on multiple projects, maintain data accuracy, and provide insights which will be used to support senior leaders. Using tools like PowerBi, advanced Excel functions and automation, you'll be responsible for providing high-quality recruitment reporting to a range of stakeholders.
This Will Require:
- A data professional with proven experience in a similar role, designing new reporting metrics, analysing data and producing reports at varying rates of complexity
- Understanding the different recruitment processes across each team to make recommendations for data collation and reporting
- Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work to deadlines, maintaining and analysing recruitment data and ensuring accuracy
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to be proactive and work independently to ensure outputs are delivered as required
The role will also encompass ad-hoc data and regular reporting tasks related to UBS recruitment and related projects.
The role requires someone who is confident working with data, enjoys problem-solving, and can translate complex information into clear, actionable insights.
Person Specification
Roles and responsibilities may include but not be limited to:
- Providing direct support to the HO Recruitment Reporting & Planning Manager, including the implementation of new ways of collating, storing and analysing data.
- Delivering complex reporting and analysis, accurately and to deadline.
- Responding to stakeholders requests for data, understanding and clarifying their requirements and finding the most relevant data sources and formats.
- Supporting continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to streamline reporting processes and enhance data quality.
- Sharing knowledge to support recruitment teams in their use of data and the importance of maintaining accurate records.

Essential Criteria:
- Proven experience in data analysis, insight generation and reporting across varied datasets.
- Experience of building and maintaining Power BI dashboards to support operational and strategic decision-making.
- Strong written, analytical, numerical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and implement solutions to meet a brief.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas, pivot tables and data transformation tools.
- Experience of producing, analysing and reporting on recruitment or HR data
- Ability to independently manage workload, prioritise effectively, and take ownership of delivery.
- Strong decision-making skills to evaluate and respond to data and reporting requests.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and customer service skills, with the ability to build strong working relationships.
Desirable Criteria:
- Experience of recruitment processes.
- Understanding of data governance, data quality principles, or mailbox/data management practices.

Sift
