Recruitment Researcher

Aspen People is looking for a driven, people-focused Researcher to join our executive search team in Glasgow.

We believe great executive search is built on insight, curiosity, and strong relationships. This is a candidate-led role, where you’ll play a central part in identifying, engaging, and building connections with senior professionals, while supporting the full search lifecycle, from initial briefing through to successful placement.

You’ll work closely with colleagues and clients, combining structured research with a highly personal, relationship-driven approach. If you enjoy engaging with people, asking the right questions, and managing detailed processes, this is an excellent opportunity to develop your career in executive search.

This role contributes to strategically important and meaningful appointments across a wide range of sectors, offering real insight into leadership and organisational impact.

The Role

You will be responsible for proactively identifying and engaging high-calibre candidates, matching them to live vacancies, and supporting Consultants and Directors throughout the full search lifecycle. You will also attend client briefing meetings, ensuring you have a clear understanding of each role and the type of candidate required to succeed.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
