Recruitment Resourcer - Engineering & Construction

Location: London/Essex

Working Pattern: Hybrid

Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 + benefits

The Role

We are looking for a proactive and driven Recruitment Resourcer to join a growing team, supporting the delivery of recruitment across the engineering and construction sectors.

You will work across both blue-collar and white-collar recruitment, identifying high-quality candidates, building talent pools, and supporting consultants throughout the recruitment process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively source candidates across engineering and construction disciplines using LinkedIn, job boards, databases, and other sourcing channels.
  • Build and maintain strong candidate pipelines across both blue-collar and white-collar positions.
  • Identify and engage with passive candidates who may not be actively looking for a new opportunity.
  • Conduct initial candidate screening and qualification calls.
  • Build strong relationships with candidates and maintain regular communication throughout the recruitment process.
  • Work closely with Recruitment Consultants to understand vacancies, candidate requirements, and client expectations.
  • Arrange interviews and support candidates throughout the recruitment process.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records on the recruitment CRM.
  • Develop and maintain talent pools for frequently recruited positions.
  • Research target companies, projects, and candidate markets to identify new opportunities.
  • Support consultants with market mapping and candidate intelligence.
  • Proactively follow up with candidates, clients, and internal stakeholders to keep processes moving.
  • Meet agreed activity and delivery targets.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
