Recruitment Resourcer / Delivery Consultant

Location: London (Hybrid)
Specialism: GTM Search for high growth Data, Research & Intelligence firms

Engage PSG is looking for an ambitious and commercially minded Recruitment Resourcer / Delivery Consultant to join our specialist Data, Research & Intelligence practice.

This is a candidate-focused recruitment role where you will play a key part in delivering searches for some of the most exciting and rapidly scaling businesses operating across Data, investment research, market intelligence and AI driven intelligence platforms.

You will work closely with experienced consultants to research markets, identify and engage high-performing candidates, conduct initial screening calls and manage candidate relationships throughout the recruitment process.

Over time, you will be given genuine ownership of the candidate side of live searches and will play an important role in helping our clients identify and secure exceptional talent.

We are looking for someone who is proactive, organised, commercially minded and genuinely enjoys the candidate delivery side of recruitment.

The Desk You Will Be Joining

You will join our specialist Data, Research & Intelligence recruitment practice, partnering predominantly with early-stage, high-growth, VC and PE-backed companies operating across Alternative and financial data, investment research, market intelligence and AI.

We operate across the US, UK and EMEA, partnering with ambitious, founder-led startups making their first commercial hires through to established private equity-backed businesses scaling internationally.

Our clients range from ambitious, founder-led startups making their first commercial hires through to established private equity-backed businesses scaling internationally.

We work closely with Founders, CEOs, CROs and senior commercial leaders to help them build the teams required to accelerate growth, enter new markets and scale their businesses.

Many of the companies we partner with are at particularly exciting points in their development — having recently raised funding, launched new products, entered new geographies or reached the stage where they need to professionalise and expand their go-to-market functions.

Their products and platforms are used by some of the world’s most sophisticated organisations, to help them make faster and smarter decisions, including:

  • Hedge funds and Asset managers
  • Private Equity and Venture Capital firms
  • Investment Banks
  • Corporate and Retail finance
  • Strategy and Management Consultancies
  • Corporates and Professional Services

You will help recruit professionals across Sales, Business Development, Account Management, Customer Success, Product, Marketing and senior commercial leadership.

This means you will regularly work on searches where the person being hired can have a meaningful impact on the growth of the client business — whether that is helping build a new commercial team, building a product, establishing a presence in a new market or making one of the company’s first senior hires.

What You Will Be Doing:

As a Recruitment Resourcer / Delivery Consultant, you will play an integral role in the delivery of live recruitment assignments, working closely with consultants to identify, engage and qualify candidates for our clients.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Candidate Sourcing & Market Mapping: Research target companies, identify relevant talent pools and proactively source candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter, our CRM, professional networks and other sourcing methods.
  • Candidate Engagement: Approach prospective candidates through telephone, email and LinkedIn, introducing relevant opportunities and building relationships with professionals across our specialist markets.
  • Candidate Screening & Qualification: Conduct initial conversations to understand candidates’ experience, performance, motivations, compensation expectations and career objectives.
  • Candidate Delivery: Work closely with consultants to identify, qualify and shortlist suitable candidates for live recruitment assignments.
  • Candidate Profiles & Submissions: Produce accurate and compelling candidate profiles, screening notes, interview summaries and written submissions.
  • Candidate Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong candidate relationships, keeping people engaged and informed throughout the recruitment process.
  • Interview Coordination: Support interview scheduling, candidate preparation, feedback collection and communication before and after each stage.
  • Talent Pipeline Development: Build long-term relationships with high-quality candidates across our markets for both current and future opportunities.
  • Market Research: Develop an understanding of our clients, their competitors, products, funding, growth strategies and the wider talent landscape.
  • Technology & AI: Use tools including ChatGPT, Claude and AI notetakers to improve research, sourcing, candidate profiling, written communication and productivity.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Progression will be based on performance, quality, consistency and behaviour, with opportunities to develop either into a more senior Delivery role or a broader Recruitment Consultant role over time.

About Engage PSG

Engage PSG was founded on a simple belief: meaningful partnerships drive lasting success. Data is in our DNA.

Our story begins more than 30 years ago at Dun & Bradstreet, one of the world’s original business-data companies, where our CEO, Kevin Cruickshank, built his career selling data, insight and risk solutions into financial services.

Working with banks and financial institutions, he learned first-hand how the right data supports some of the world’s most important commercial decisions.

He also developed deep expertise across business identity, compliance and financial services, which continues to shape how Engage operates today.

After going on to lead the Banking and Financial Services organisation at one of the world’s foremost Know Your Business companies, Kevin launched Engage PSG, combining that data-led commercial mindset with the principles of high-touch executive search.

Since then, Engage PSG has grown from a UK-based search business into a global specialist, with teams in London, Los Angeles and Sydney.

Our consultants bring decades of collective experience across Data, AI, Digital Identity, Risk, Fraud and Compliance.

Today, we partner with rapidly scaling, often VC or PE-backed companies whose technology, data and intelligence power decision-making for sophisticated investors, financial institutions and global businesses.

We do not simply recruit within the data world — we come from it.

By joining Engage PSG, you will be learning from people who have operated within these markets and understand them from the inside.

Sound Like You?

If you have some initial recruitment experience, enjoy the candidate delivery side of the job and want to build your career within a specialist, internationally focused recruitment business, we would love to hear from you.
