IT Contract Recruitment Consultant — Remote
Evantis | UK & European IT Contractor Desk
The Role
We're looking for an experienced IT Contract Recruitment Consultant to join us remotely, working UK business hours. This is a fast-paced contractor desk — you'll be working live roles, managing active pipelines, and placing senior IT contractors across the UK and EU on a daily basis
You won't be starting from scratch. Our sourcing tools and automation will bring candidates to you — your job is to qualify them quickly, manage the process efficiently, and get contractors placed. Speed and quality of conversation are everything on a contract desk
What You'll Be Doing
- Managing end-to-end contractor recruitment across multiple live roles simultaneously
- Qualifying senior IT candidates quickly and accurately against live requirements
- Building and maintaining a pipeline of available contractors across key skill areas
- Conducting candidate calls to assess fit, availability, day rate expectations, and right to work
- Managing contractor submissions to clients and coordinating interview and on-boarding processes
- Keeping on top of contractor end dates and proactively re-marketing contractors ahead of their notice
- Working closely with the founder on new roles, client requirements, and market feedback
- Using LinkedIn and our AI sourcing tools to identify and engage candidates at pace
- Maintaining accurate records in our ATS at all times

What We're Looking For Essentials
- Minimum 2 years' experience on a UK IT contract recruitment desk
- Strong understanding of the UK contractor market — day rates, notice periods, right to work, and IR35 (inside and outside determinatations
- Proven track record of placing senior IT contractors, not just junior or permanent roles
- Confident and credible on the phone with senior technical candidates
- Ability to manage multiple live roles simultaneously without dropping the ball
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Self-motivated and comfortable working remotely and independently available
- Available to work UK business hours (08:30–17:30 GMT)
