Referment is working with a leading UK construction and infrastructure specialist to hire an experienced Recruitment Resourcer to join their in-house Talent team in East London.

This is a hands-on sourcing role supporting major engineering, construction and infrastructure projects across the UK.

You’ll work closely with hiring managers and operational teams to identify and engage the people they need, from skilled trades, labour and plant operators through to supervisors, engineers and specialist construction professionals.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Proactively sourcing candidates through job boards, LinkedIn, referrals, networking and direct approaches
  • Building talent pools for current and future project requirements
  • Screening candidates against experience, qualifications and availability
  • Supporting both high-volume and urgent recruitment campaigns
  • Partnering directly with operational managers to understand upcoming hiring needs
  • Helping reduce agency reliance through proactive direct sourcing
  • Supporting interviews, onboarding and pre-employment checks

What We’re Looking For

You’ll ideally have previous recruitment or resourcing experience within construction, infrastructure, engineering, industrial or blue-collar markets.

You could currently be working in-house or within a recruitment agency and looking to make the move into an internal Talent team.

We’re particularly interested in people who have experience sourcing:

  • Skilled trades and labour
  • Plant operators
  • Supervisors and site-based professionals
  • Engineering or construction specialists

You’ll need to be comfortable managing multiple vacancies, proactively headhunting candidates and working at pace in a project-driven environment.
