Company Description

At Home Instead, we are passionate about providing outstanding care and companionship to older adults in our community. To support our continued growth, we are looking for an enthusiastic and proactive Recruiter & Retention Coordinator to attract, engage, and retain exceptional Care Professionals who share our values.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with recruitment, people engagement, or HR experience who enjoys building relationships, developing creative recruitment campaigns, and ensuring employees feel supported throughout their journey with us.

Job Description

Recruitment

  • Manage all aspects of the recruitment process from attraction through to onboarding.
  • Develop and deliver innovative recruitment campaigns across online platforms and within the local community.
  • Build relationships with local organisations, community groups, and networking contacts to attract high-quality candidates.
  • Promote recruitment opportunities through social media and digital marketing channels.
  • Attend recruitment fairs, community events, exhibitions, and networking opportunities.
  • Conduct candidate screening and support selection activities.
  • Maintain accurate recruitment records using the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
  • Monitor recruitment metrics and use data to continually improve recruitment outcomes.
  • Develop and manage an effective employee referral scheme.

Care Professional Retention & Engagement

  • Develop and implement initiatives to improve Care Professional retention and engagement.
  • Conduct regular wellbeing and satisfaction check-ins with Care Professionals.
  • Support employee recognition programmes and reward initiatives.
  • Gather feedback through surveys, reviews, and meetings to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Work closely with management to address retention challenges and enhance employee experience.
  • Promote career development opportunities and support professional growth.
  • Help foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive workplace culture where Care Professionals feel valued and appreciated.

Qualifications

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience managing end-to-end recruitment processes.
  • Experience creating and delivering recruitment marketing campaigns.
  • Knowledge of recruitment legislation, including Right to Work checks, references, and DBS compliance.
  • Experience using social media and digital platforms for recruitment.
  • Strong relationship-building and networking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Experience analysing recruitment data and reporting on results.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills.
  • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and recruitment systems.
  • Self-motivated, resilient, and driven to achieve targets.
