Position SummaryThe Associate Sourcer plays a vital role in supporting global shipboard hiring by using creative sourcing techniques and building strong, proactive talent pipelines. This role is all about finding and attracting great people for shipboard roles at every level. You’ll work closely with recruiters and hiring teams to keep a steady flow of talent coming in and help the business stay competitive in a fast‑paced global market. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Talent Sourcing & Pipeline Development
Sources candidates through various channels, including social media, job boards, talent pools, referrals, and direct sourcing techniques Get creative with sourcing strategies to attract great candidates for shipboard roles globally - from high‑volume to more niche positions Builds and maintains talent pipelines for critical shipboard roles, so we’re always ready to meet current and future hiring needs Posts job advertisements across multiple platforms to ensure our roles stand out in the right talent markets

Candidate Screening & Evaluation
Conducts initial candidate screenings to understand skills, experience, and overall fit for marine shipboard roles Ensures job descriptions and role expectations are clearly communicated to all candidates
Working with Others & Knowing the Market
Partners with recruitment team to identify sourcing gaps and share ideas to strengthen talent pipelines Build relationships with universities, industry bodies, and government organisations to support talent attraction (career fairs, job fairs, employment portals, etc.) Keep up to date with hiring trends, labour markets, and competitor activity, and share insights to help improve how we recruit
Candidate Experience & Employer Brand
Help create a positive candidate experience through clear, timely communication and support throughout the hiring journey Represents the company at career fairs, recruitment events, and professional networking opportunities
Data Management & Performance Analytics
Maintains accurate candidate data within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and ensures proper documentation of all recruitment activities Monitors and reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure operational business goals are consistently met
Experience / Skills
Minimum of 2 years’ experience sourcing candidates in a high‑volume recruitment environment (global experience is a plus) A solid understanding of sourcing techniques, talent mapping, and building proactive talent pools, with the curiosity and creativity to find great people - even for those hard‑to‑fill roles Experience sourcing within the marine, cruising, engineering or medical sectors preferred Ability to analyse recruitment data, generate reports, and track what’s working A strong communicator who enjoys working with others and building relationships Comfortable working in a fast‑moving, multicultural environment where priorities can change Experience with ATS platforms, job boards, and social media, along with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
