Recruitment Partner, Regulatory Body, London

Fixed Term Contract to March 2027 with the possibility of extension
£45,000-£48,000 pro-rata
Hybrid working: 3 days in the office and 2 days WFH

Regulatory Body needs confident Recruitment Partner to help build the team for a dedicated project. This is a standalone role to start asap and will be until March 2027 with a possible extension. This is a hybrid working role, 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home.

Responsibilities

  • Providing dedicated interim recruitment capacity for a defined project, delivering to time, cost, and quality
  • Managing a large caseload of concurrent vacancies end to end, from approval through advertising, sourcing, and selection to offer and onboarding
  • Acting as the first point of contact for managers, recruitment agencies, and advertisers
  • Drafting and placing adverts on careers sites, job boards, and other channels
  • Managing costs and the flow of information
  • Sourcing candidates directly through LinkedIn Recruiter, CV databases, talent pools, and professional networks
  • Screening and shortlisting applications
  • Planning and running selection activity, including assessment centers
  • Coordinating interviews – panels, invitations, rooms, tests, and reasonable adjustments
  • Delivering a smooth onboarding experience for candidates, ensuring pre-employment checks and documentation are completed
  • Applying inclusive, data-driven, and market-led practice throughout, using technology and generative AI where suitable
  • Managing offers end to end, including salary recommendations, verbal and written offers, and any negotiation
  • Employing innovative sourcing strategies, market insight, and targeted recruitment approaches
  • Building and maintaining pipelines and talent pools ahead of demand, keeping applicants informed at every stage

Skills and Experience Needed

  • Ideally degree level education or equivalent experience in HR, recruitment, or similar field
  • Solid recruitment experience with experience in full-cycle recruiting, using various interview techniques and evaluation methods
  • Demonstrable experience of delivering high volume recruitment, managing a large caseload of concurrent vacancies to demanding timescales
  • Experience of using e-recruitment systems
  • Proficiency with social media, CV databases, and professional networks
  • Experience of briefing and managing recruitment agencies, including managing submissions, monitoring performance, and controlling spend
  • Experience of managing onboarding and pre-employment screening, including right to work, references, and verification of qualifications
  • Experience of delivering cost-effective attraction approaches and controlling cost per hire
  • Experience of prioritising, planning, and delivering own workload without close supervision
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as ability to present to varied audiences in an engaging manner
  • Ability to keep candidates, hiring managers, and suppliers informed at pace, communicating clearly on progress, decisions, and next steps
  • Ability to use a range of communication styles and approaches in different situations and to different audiences. Ability to build credible relationships with senior stakeholders
  • Ability to draft attractive job adverts, job description, and other communication materials
  • Ability to manage a high volume workload, sequencing, and prioritising activity to meet agreed deadlines
  • Proven track record of delivering recruitment activity to time, cost, and quality
  • Knowledge of recruitment, selection, and onboarding processes
  • Preferably experience analyzing data, evidence-based recommendations, and risk assessments, plus applicant tracking or HR systems

If you have CIPD Level 5 or equivalent experience, that would be an advantage as would experience working in an interim, fixed term, or project-based recruitment role, becoming productive quickly with minimal induction. You will preferably have experience of using LinkedIn Recruiter for direct sourcing at volume, experience of targeting hard to reach groups and positive action programmes, and experience of designing and running volume selection activity such as assessment centers.
