Are you a customer-focused, organised and proactive HR professional with excellent attention to detail? We are seeking a People Services Support Officer to join our People Services & Organisational Development team at Nottinghamshire Police.

๐Ÿš€ What you'll do

  • Act as a first point of contact for recruitment enquiries, providing professional and customer-focused support.
  • Process employee lifecycle and recruitment activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance throughout.
  • Maintain and update employee records and People Services systems in line with policies, procedures and payroll deadlines.
  • Provide advice and guidance on HR policies, procedures, Police Regulations and employment-related matters.
  • Support recruitment processes, including job advertising, pre-employment checks, interview arrangements and onboarding.
  • Produce and maintain HR correspondence and documentation in line with legislation and best practice.
  • Support People Services projects, meetings, events and data collation activities.
  • Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to deliver an efficient and professional service.

๐Ÿ’ก What Weโ€™re Looking For

  • Experience in HR, recruitment, administration or customer service environments.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Experience using databases, spreadsheets and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to interpret and apply policies, procedures and relevant legislation.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English.
  • CIPD Level 3 qualification or willingness to work towards it.
