Objectives of the Role

· The Recruitment and Training Administrator plays a key role as the first point of contact for prospective licensees and operators, handling enquiries, offering advice and helping to guide applicants through the recruitment process. · A key part of the role will be speaking confidently with prospective applicants over the phone, building rapport quickly and carrying out initial telephone screening to understand suitability and next steps. · The role also supports the wider Recruitment and Training team with administration; applicant checks and day-to-day coordination to ensure the recruitment and training process runs smoothly. · Moreover, the Recruitment & Training Administrator will support the team with licensee and operator training attendance.

Key Responsibilities

· Act as the first point of contact for prospective licensees and operators, handling inbound and outbound enquiries. · Speak confidently with applicants over the phone, build rapport, answering questions and guiding them through the recruitment process. · Carry out initial telephone screening to understand applicants’ experience, circumstances, suitability and next steps. · Complete targeted recruitment activity, including proactive outbound calls, engage prospective applicants and support recruitment priorities. · Process application forms, complete credit checks for new applicants and ensure applicant information is accurately recorded. · Keep applicant records, systems and trackers up to date, ensuring all information is handled in line with company procedures. · Support the Recruitment and Training team with day-to-day administration, coordination and follow-up activity. · Assist with training course administration, including bookings, attending sessions to take the register, maintaining attendance records and providing e-learning support. · Work closely with BDMs and Recruitment & Training Executives to identify and support the best prospective licensees and operators for our pubs.

Skills and Experience

· A strong background in phone-based communication is essential, with the confidence to handle inbound and outbound calls in a professional, friendly and engaging way. · Comfortable picking up the phone, starting conversations and engaging with people from a range of backgrounds. · Able to build rapport quickly, ask relevant questions and use good judgement when speaking with prospective applicants. · Strong customer service skills, with the ability to offer clear, helpful advice and guidance throughout the recruitment process. · Highly organised, with the ability to manage a varied workload, prioritise tasks and work accurately in a fast-paced environment. · Excellent attention to detail, particularly when processing applications, completing checks and maintaining applicant records. · Comfortable handling confidential information and following company processes. · Able to work independently as well as part of a wider team, supporting colleagues where needed. · Flexible and proactive, with a willingness to support recruitment, training and general administration activity. · Confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel; experience using systems, databases or CRM platforms would be beneficial.

Working Arrangements

· This position is Head Office based hybrid. During the initial training period, you will be expected to attend the office for a minimum of 4 days per week. · Following completion of training, the role will move to a hybrid arrangement, with office attendance typically 1–2 days per week depending on business needs.
