About The Role

Based at: Waterswallows Industrial Estate, Buxton

Salary: £12.82 per hour / £26,757.19 per annum

Working: 40 hours per week

Bank holiday working: Mandatory if part of working pattern paid at x 2 plus 1 day in Lieu. (closed Christmas day, Boxing day and New Years day)

Overtime: As required: Monday- Friday x1.5 and Sunday x2 when not part of your working pattern.

Working Patterns:

  • WK 1: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday 07:30 - 18:00
  • WK 2: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Sunday 07:30 - 18:00

What will I be doing?

We are looking for an enthusiastic team player, who will be expected to join the current site team to ensure site operations exceed the standards required.

The Role Will Involve

  • Providing excellent levels of customer service.
  • Maintaining a tidy site within your areas of responsibility.
  • Advising and assisting the public on how to use the site in order to maximise recovery of materials deposited in the sites and divert waste from landfill.
  • Maintaining accurate records for the removal of materials from the site and other administrative duties as required.
  • Ensuring our business complies fully with its legal duties in respect of the health, safety and welfare of its employees and of other people who may be affected by your actions or omissions.

What are the requirements?

  • A flexible approach to work will be advantageous as you will be expected to cover holiday and sick days if required.
  • Full training, PPE and uniform will be provided to successful candidate.
  • Excellent teamwork skills and customer service.
