🚨 Red Team Consultant | Bristol / South West | Defence
I’m currently working on an exciting opportunity for an experienced Red Team / Offensive Security professional to join a growing capability within a major UK Defence organisation. This is not just a traditional penetration testing role.
You’ll be involved in Red Team operations, adversary simulation and threat-led security assessments, helping to replicate realistic attacks against complex, high-assurance environments.
What you’ll be doing:
- Red Team & adversary simulation
- Threat-led security assessments
- Initial access, exploitation & detection evasion
- C2 / operational infrastructure
- Offensive security tooling & automation
- Malware / tool development
- Research into emerging attacker TTPs
- Helping shape Red Team methodologies and capability
- Working directly with customers across Defence & Government environments

What I’m looking for:
- Strong hands-on Red Team / Offensive Security experience
- Experience with adversary simulation or advanced penetration testing
- Strong scripting/development skills — Python, C#, C/C++, Go, Rust or JavaScript
- Experience across areas such as AD, cloud exploitation, C2, detection evasion or exploit development
- Relevant offensive security certifications are advantageous — OSCP, OSEP, OSED, OSCE, CREST, RTO/RTO2 or equivalent
- Defence, Government or other high-assurance experience would be highly desirable
- DV clearance or the ability to attain DV
- Sole UK nationality
