**Red Team Operator – Full-Scope Engagements
We’re looking for experienced and passionate professionals with deep expertise in red team operations, adversary simulation, and offensive security research—individuals ready to leverage their skills in impactful, collaborative work alongside industry leaders.
About the Role
You’ll lead and execute full-scope red team engagements against sophisticated targets, mastering:
- Customised TTPs (Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures) to evade modern defensive tooling, rooted in attacker tradecraft and detection engineering.
- Custom tooling and implants (initial access through to objective execution), tailored to each engagement.
- Threat-intelligence-led assessments, as needed, to refine operational efficacy.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute comprehensive red team operations (not just penetration tests).
- Develop and adapt offensive tooling (C, C#, Rust, Go, or Python) for consistent campaign execution.
- Thrive across Linux/Windows environments, leveraging authentication, trust relationships, and defensive controls.
- Emulate genuine adversary behaviour—adjusting methodology when confronted by threats or deterrents.
- communicate findings clearly to diverse stakeholders while preserving technical precision.

Requirements & Qualifications
✅ Essential:
- Hands-on red team experience: with multi-phase operations, not limited to penetration testing.
- Coding proficiency: custom development in C, C#, Rust, Go, or Python.
- Unified OS expertise: Linux/Windows security fundamentals, defensive mechanisms, and tradecraft.
- Adversary mindset: patient, methodical, and creative in overcoming obstacles.
- Clear UK Developed Vetting (DV) eligibility (or current clearance); this clearance is mandatory.
- Willingness to commute regularly to Basingstoke office.
✈ Desirable:
- Advanced evasion of EDR/XDR and deep understanding of detective logic for tool refinement.
- Physical security, social engineering, and initial access experience.
- Cloud operations experience (Azure, AWS, GCP) from an offensive standpoint:
- Misconfigurations, lateral movement, and privilege escalation.
- C2 framework familiarity and awareness of operational security risks.
