We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Redress Business Analyst.

The HSBC UK Customer Redress Project Teams are collectively responsible for working with stakeholders to discover and define impacted customer scope and to design and deliver timely communication and redress payments to those customers, ensuring that quality plans and project artefacts are created and projects delivered in line with governance and policy requirements.

Role Overview

The HSBC UK Customer Redress Business Analyst is responsible for supporting all phases of a project lifecycle from Discovery & Define to establish scope through to Design and to ensure redress projects are delivered within timeline, budget, regulation and to HSBC Customer Redress defined standards. This role will work alongside Project Managers and in collaboration with Data Analysts and wider Redress Teams to support multiple projects simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities

  • Capturing, analysing and documenting business processes
  • Participate in change management activities which can include tasks such as timeline planning and stakeholder engagements
  • Assist in the implementation of change solutions including training and communication
  • Tracking and documenting project progress and managing status reporting
  • Analyse information, identifying key factors, considering options available and making decisions based on findings
  • Supporting Requirements elicitation and helping shape Approach
  • Production of required project artefacts
  • Develop procedures to facilitate delivery of HSBC UK Customer Redress project targets
  • Engage with project managers and business analysts in the Global Utility to support effective ways of working

Requirements

To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:

  • Strong change management skills and experience
  • Excellent attention to detail to ensure accuracy in recording, storing and maintaining critical data
  • Strong planning and organising / time management skills
  • Strong ability to identify, assess and mitigate risks
  • Strong ability to communicate at all levels & confident decision maker
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills including Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Excellent proactive problem critical solving skills
  • A flexible and adaptable approach to change
