Nanny Needed for 2 Days per Week in St Albans

A super family in St Albans is in need of a nanny for 2 days per week.

Days: 2 of Tue/Wed/Thu
Hours: 10am-6pm
Ages: G12m
Salary: £17-£20gph

A family in St Albans is in need of a nanny for their daughter who will be 12 months at the start of the role.

  • They need 2 days per week, and have flexibility across Tues, Wed, or Thurs.
  • The hours are 10am-6pm.
  • This is to start late October, to settle in before mum returns to work in November.
  • They commit to at least a year - when she turns 2, they may look to split nanny and nursery so drop a day, but all still up in the air!
  • The role will be based at the grandparents' house (as they have more space to play!) so you'll need to be comfortable with various adults - the position is sole charge, but parents will be there working, and grandparents will be there just living their lives - they won't interfere!
  • They offer £17-£20 gross per hour, depending on your experience and qualification level.
  • A driver is not needed - they're close to town.
  • They have a cat.
  • Role is childcare only - no laundry or cooking.
  • They'd love you to utilize the garden, walks to the park, a toddler group with her.
  • This position will not suit a nanny bringing your own child to work.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
