Wonderful Full-Time Role in a Village Location
About the Role
A lovely full-time role working with a family in a small village close to Amersham (HP8).
They currently have two children aged just 2 and 5. They are expecting their third in March!
This is an ongoing position to start ASAP - they would love you to grow with their family and stay very long term.
Days and Hours
- Days: 4 or 5 days
- Hours: 40hrs (+)
- Ages: B2, B5 (+NB)
Salary
£30k-£40k (++)
Responsibilities
The minimum they require a nanny is 36.5 hours per week - absolute min is Mon, Tues, Wed 7.30am-6.30pm, and Thurs 3-6.30 (4 days)
Ideally you'd also do Fri 3-6.30pm to total 40 hours, but they can accept Mon-Thurs only if you prefer

If you'd like more hours, they are happy to offer longer days on the Thurs/Fri, and can also commit to more hours in the holidays to bulk out the annualised hours/salary
The eldest is in school, so the bulk of your time will be with the toddler. Please take him out to activities and groups, as well as fun activities at home focusing on his learning and development.
Role Details
The role is sole charge. Mum works from home on Fridays.
Mum will take approx 6 months of mat leave, during which time you'll remain in sole care of the elder two. In Sept 2027, the middle one will start nursery and you'll take full charge of the baby!

Benefits
They offer £16-£19ph which is £30k - £40k for the hours above, would be more if you are happy to do full days in the holidays.
A driver is essential, they can provide an automatic car for work use.
Ofsted registration is not needed. They have no pets.
No known allergies. They ask you help with child related chores only - the focus is on the childcare.
There is the option to babysit if you want, but this isn't a requirement. There will be the odd occasion they need a later finish.
Requirements
This position is not suited to a nanny bringing their own child to work.
