Organization & Department Overview
The Master and Reference Data (MRD) organization is responsible for providing authoritative sources of reference data across the enterprise, through implementing state-of-the-art technologies and operational processes which promote the collection, storage, analysis, and distribution of product, pricing, account, and corporate action data. The MRD organization works in partnership with data clients across global business lines, deploying solutions to increase competitiveness through restructuring business processes, simplifying information access, and providing business intelligence around critical data.
Team Overview
This Corporate Actions Product & Data Team works on a global strategic technology platform - Global Corporate Action Event Repository. Major tasks involve:
- Processing Vendor Data Feeds
- Analyzing and Researching Data
- Working on Swift Messages
- User Interface
- Data publishing to downstream clients (via Cloud, custom publisher)
- Rules and Governance
- Audit
- Compliance
Coverage, Completeness, Accuracy, and Timeliness of information are the key drivers. Client and User requirements drive the overall product roadmap. It is a global team.
Job Description
- Create Business and Function Requirements
- Data Modelling, Mapping
- Data Mining and Transformation
- SQL Proficiency
- Work closely with IT, PM and Operations partners
- Develop Interfaces - Web GUI / API
- Work with Data Providers Vendors (Internal & External)
- Define EPICs and User Stories based on Client Requirements
- Work with Stakeholders
- Documentation and User Training
- Identify opportunities for automation, process streamlining, and AI-ready data use cases

Required Skills
- Working with clients to capture business and product requirements
- Strong analytical and writing skills, to include solid experience in writing functional and technical specifications / user stories
- Validation and testing in collaboration with Dev/QA/Operations
- Understanding of Data Vendor/Data Source Hierarchy for Golden Copy
- Experience/understanding of business process reengineering and business modeling concepts, business systems development and analysis
- Ability to focus on high-quality work while under pressure
- Data oriented with excellent attention to detail
Preferred / Good to Have Skills
- Understanding of AI/GenAI fundamentals and how to structure "AI-ready" reference data
- Exposure to process automation, workflow streamlining, or intelligent data quality checks
Qualifications
- 3+ years of relevant experience
- Proven ability to use complex analytical, interpretive and problem-solving techniques
- Proven interpersonal, data analysis, diplomatic, management and prioritization skills
- Consistently demonstrate clear and concise written and verbal communication
- Proven self-motivation to take initiative and master new tasks quickly
- Demonstrated ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines and approach work methodically with attention to detail
