Description & Requirements

Be part of something great

Maximus is a global organisation that specialises in providing health and employment services to millions of people every year. Here in the UK we employ around 5,000 people across the country to deliver services that have a profound impact on people’s lives. From assessments and health services to employability programmes and specialist support, we do work that matters with people who care.

  • Work with key external and internal stakeholders, partners and employers, whom you will identify, engage with, influence and ultimately recruit onto programme, eligible 19+ learners, to undertake our (Adult Skills) education and skills programmes.
  • Engage with learners and employers to support Adult Skills customers into sustainable employment opportunities.

Outreach and Partnership Engagement

  • Actively identify beneficial outreach and co-location opportunities with partner organisations to drive engagement.
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with a range of professionals, agencies, employers and partners.
  • Develop effective working relationships with a range of external agencies to provide individuals with opportunities to achieve their education/training and/or employment goals.
  • Represent Maximus professionally at sector events, external meetings and seminars, as required.

Professional Relationships

  • Maintain professional relationships with learners, partners, employers and other colleagues, with particular attention to safeguarding, confidentiality and maintenance of professional boundaries.

Caseload (Performance) Management

  • Use MIS (inc. ILR) data to track learner enrolment volumes and address any trends towards shortfalls via increased engagement activities, open days, presentations at referral organisation/s etc.

Supporting Learners

  • Provide effective IAG to engaged individuals. Conduct initial engagement meetings with referrals to build rapport and interest in the ASF programs.
  • Work closely with and advise the learner (and where appropriate, employer/s) on the most appropriate route and level of learning.
  • Assess learners’ basic skills levels and needs using their CVs, screeners, assessments, and diagnostics tools alongside their prior experience/attainment and aspirations.
  • Develop robust Individual Learning Plans (ILPs) with learners detailing e.g. career aspirations, any additional support required and SMART targets
  • Carry out learner enrolments onto suitable programme/s (inc. induction/s) so that targeted enrolment volumes are met each month and ensure a smooth handover of learners to their nominated Trainer.
  • Support learners to find suitable job vacancies and track in to employment progression once courses complete.
  • Provide effective IAG post course completion to learners to support finding employment opportunities.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
