Referral Veterinary Nurses – Multiple Disciplines

📍 Eastcott Referrals, Swindon, Wiltshire

🕒 Full Time | Permanent & Fixed Term Opportunities

💷 £28,000 – £33,538 DOE

Eastcott Referrals is expanding, and we are looking for passionate Registered Veterinary Nurses to join our friendly, close-knit Tier 3 referral hospital.

We have opportunities across multiple disciplines, including:

  • Surgery (soft tissue & orthopaedics)
  • Anaesthesia
  • Internal Medicine
  • ECC & inpatient care
  • Dentistry & Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery
  • Multidisciplinary nursing team

The Role

You’ll work alongside specialist clinicians, anaesthetists, and experienced referral nurses to deliver exceptional patient care.

Typical responsibilities may include:

  • Supporting advanced surgical, medical and diagnostic procedures
  • Creating tailored anaesthesia plans and monitoring anaesthesia
  • Theatre preparation and surgical assistance
  • Patient care and supporting clients

Working pattern:

  • 40 hours per week (4 x 10-hour or 5 x 8-hour days), part-time hours considered
  • 1 in 8 weekends (with time off in lieu)
  • 1 bank holiday per year

About You

  • RCVS Registered Veterinary Nurse
  • Strong team player with a proactive, positive attitude
  • Passion for high standards of patient care
  • Interest in referral nursing (any discipline)
  • Previous referral experience advantageous but not essential

  • 2–4 weeks shadowing experienced referral nurses
