Referrals & Partnerships Manager

£45,000 per annum + £5,000 car allowance
Full-Time | M62 Corridor – Huddersfield, West Yorkshire

Compass Associates are proud to be working with a leading specialist adult social care provider who are seeking an experienced Referrals & Partnerships Manager to join their growing team.

This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially driven professional to develop strategic partnerships, generate referrals and drive occupancy across a portfolio of specialist services supporting individuals with learning disabilities, autism and complex needs.

Working closely with senior leadership and operational teams, you will play a key role in strengthening relationships with commissioners, local authorities and external stakeholders, while identifying opportunities for business growth and service development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain relationships with commissioners, local authorities, social workers and key referral partners.
  • Manage the full referrals and assessment process, ensuring timely and effective admissions.
  • Drive occupancy by identifying suitable placements, promoting vacancies and developing new referral opportunities.
  • Negotiate placement fees with funding authorities, supporting commercial performance.
  • Monitor referral activity, occupancy and performance, providing reports and insights to senior leadership.
  • Collaborate with operational and development teams to support new services, acquisitions and service improvements.
  • Identify new partnerships and contribute to regional business development and marketing initiatives.
  • Ensure assessments, admissions and transitions are person-centred and compliant with safeguarding requirements.

Essential Requirements

  • Experience in referrals, placements, partnerships or business development within adult social care.
  • Knowledge of learning disabilities, autism or complex care services.
  • Proven ability to build relationships with commissioners, local authorities and external stakeholders.
  • Experience managing referrals, assessments and placement processes.
  • Strong commercial awareness, including occupancy, budgets and placement fees.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and organisational skills.
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel.

Based within the M62 corridor, ideally Huddersfield, with good access to Leeds, Bradford, Halifax, Wakefield, Dewsbury, Manchester, Rochdale and surrounding areas.
