Mobile Refrigeration Engineer
Greater London & Essex
£42,000 - £48,000 + Door-to-Door Pay
Are you an experienced Refrigeration Engineer looking for a new challenge?
CBW Staffing Solutions is currently recruiting for a Mobile Refrigeration Engineer to work across a diverse portfolio of clients throughout Greater London and Essex. Occasional attendance at the company's Colchester office will be required.
The successful candidate will carry out servicing, maintenance, fault-finding and repairs across refrigeration systems within food retail, food processing and packing facilities, cold stores and pharmaceutical environments. Equipment includes refrigeration packs and catering fridges, with some air conditioning work depending on experience.

Hours & Package
- Basic salary of £42,000 - £48,000, depending on experience
- 40-hour working week
- Door-to-door pay
- Overtime paid at 1.5x
- On-call rota currently 1 in 3, with £300 standby payment per on-call week paid on top of basic salary
- 25 days holiday plus bank holidays
- Birthday off
- Option to buy or sell 2 days holiday
Duties & Responsibilities
- Carry out planned servicing and reactive maintenance on commercial refrigeration equipment.
- Diagnose faults and complete repairs across refrigeration packs, cold stores and catering fridges.
- Attend breakdowns and restore equipment to working order.
- Complete service reports and maintain accurate records of work carried out.
- Build positive working relationships with clients across a range of sites.
- Participate in the on-call rota.

Requirements
- Ideally, a minimum of 5 years refrigeration engineering experience.
- Strong servicing, maintenance and fault-finding skills across commercial refrigeration systems.
- Ability to work independently across a mobile portfolio.
- Good communication skills and a professional approach to customer service.
- Air conditioning experience would be beneficial but is not essential.
- Willingness to travel throughout Greater London and Essex, with occasional visits to Colchester.
