Are you a Commercial Refrigeration Engineer who takes pride in doing a job properly? If you’re looking for a company where quality matters, engineers are treated well and you’re not just thrown jobs at all day, this could be worth a look.
This is a well-established, growing refrigeration business with a strong customer base and a genuinely varied workload. From small village shops and independent butchers through to large-scale cold stores, no two days are quite the same.
There’s no London work and no supermarket contracts, the team focuses purely on looking after its existing customers.
The Role
You’ll be working across Sussex, Kent and Surrey, carrying out:
- Servicing and maintenance of commercial refrigeration systems
- Fault finding and breakdown work
- Installation and system alterations
- Working on a wide variety of commercial refrigeration equipment
- Supporting customers on site and providing a professional service
- Diagnosing faults properly and getting systems running correctly
- Working closely with the wider engineering team when technical support is needed

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

The team has a strong quality-first mentality, supports one another technically and wants to build a group of engineers who stay for the long term.
If you're an experienced Commercial Refrigeration Engineer looking for good work, good people, decent earning potential and a company that cares about the standard of service it provides, we'd like to hear from you. Apply today for a confidential chat.
