We're looking for an experienced and motivated Refrigeration Engineer to join our growing mobile engineering team. This is a hands-on role suited to an engineer who takes pride in delivering high standards of workmanship and customer service across a variety of commercial sites. This opportunity would suit an engineer looking to join a reputable and growing business where they can develop their career.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on commercial refrigeration equipment
- Diagnosing faults and carrying out reactive breakdown repairs efficiently
- Completing refrigeration installations, upgrades, and commissioning work
- Carrying out system performance checks and ensuring compliance with current regulations
- Working across a variety of commercial sites, including restaurants, retail units, leisure facilities, and educational establishments
- Using the Cafty system to manage job sheets, reports, and job documentation
- Delivering excellent customer service while representing CSS Environmental professionally on site

What we're looking for:
- F-Gas Certification
- City & Guilds 2079 Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Level 2 (or equivalent)
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Experience working on commercial refrigeration systems
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Positive, proactive attitude
- Willingness to participate in the callout rota

Desirable:
- Apprenticeship-trained background
- Experience working across multiple manufacturers and refrigeration system types
