Refrigeration Service Engineer
M25 & Greater London Area | Full-Time | Permanent
About the Opportunity
An established and growing building services and refrigeration specialist is seeking an experienced Refrigeration Service Engineer to join its field-based engineering team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated engineer looking for a varied role, working independently across a wide range of commercial refrigeration systems.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality maintenance, fault diagnosis, repair, and customer support services to clients across the M25 region and surrounding areas.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out reactive maintenance and repair work on commercial refrigeration systems.
- Diagnose and rectify faults on equipment including:
- Cold rooms
- Display cabinets
- Chillers
- Freezer units
- Complete planned preventative maintenance tasks as required.
- Ensure all work is completed in line with current Health & Safety regulations and F-Gas requirements.
- Maintain accurate service reports and documentation using company systems.
- Deliver a professional and customer-focused service at all times.
- Participate in an on-call rota and attend emergency breakdown call-outs when required.

About You
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- Proven experience working as a Refrigeration Engineer.
- NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning (or equivalent).
- Valid F-Gas certification.
- R290 qualification.
- CO₂ refrigeration qualification.
- CSCS card.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
- The ability to work independently and manage your own workload.
- A professional, customer-focused approach.

Additional Information
This is a field-based position covering a broad geographical area within and around the M25. Candidates should be comfortable travelling as part of the role and be flexible in supporting business and customer requirements.
