Job Description

Rainbow Productions is excited to be looking for an organised and practical individual with a hands-on approach to become the newest member of our Refurb team. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for repairing, restoring and maintaining costumes and props. You will work closely with the other members of the Refurb team to assess, clean and repair costumes and props sent to Rainbow from across the UK and internationally, helping to give them a new lease of life.

Job Requirements

We are looking for someone with a fabrication background, such as costume, modelmaking, props or theatre. The successful candidate will have:

  • Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a small team.
  • A practical, hands-on approach and a willingness to learn.
  • Good problem-solving skills, as refurbishment projects often require creative and practical solutions.
  • Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • An interest in repairing, restoring and maintaining costumes and props.
  • Previous costume-making experience is welcome but not essential. We are looking for someone who is available to start from the beginning of November.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
