What do I need?

We're looking for an individual who can demonstrate:

• A passion for placemaking and creating vibrant, inclusive, and sustainable places where people want to live, work, and visit.
• A commitment to collaboration, partnership working, and community engagement to deliver meaningful and lasting regeneration outcomes.
• Experience in a relevant field such as regeneration, economic development, housing, development, infrastructure, or capital project delivery.
• Experience of leading and managing a team.
• A strong track record of leading and delivering complex projects and programmes involving multiple stakeholders.
• Experience of identifying, securing, and managing external funding for regeneration, housing, infrastructure, or economic development projects.
• Excellent stakeholder management, negotiation, and influencing skills, with the ability to build effective relationships and partnerships.
• Strong financial and commercial awareness, including budget management, funding compliance, and project appraisal.
• Experience of procurement processes and the management of consultants, contractors, and delivery partners.
• Excellent project management skills, including the ability to manage competing priorities, risks, and resources effectively.
• The ability to operate confidently within a complex political, organisational, and partnership environment.
