Purpose

The Regional Account Manager is responsible for developing mutually beneficial relationships between KONE and customers which are strategic or nationally / locally important and in which also maximizes KONE’s current and future share of our customer’s lift business by identifying solutions and developing processes that add value to both KONE and the customer. This role will cover customers within North & South London areas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Creating and managing sales opportunities in your customer base with the account teams.
  • Sharing customer knowledge and contacts to support other account team members to win business.
  • Creating value propositions with clearly described benefits of KONE solutions for customer’s needs.
  • Accountable for national or frame agreements and managing the customer’s contract portfolio.
  • Developing the profitability of the customers’ business with KONE according to the account plan.
  • Developing market intelligence and customer insight to develop credibility and a competitive advantage.
  • Canvassing new business whilst ensuring you retain and grow existing accounts.
  • Negotiating and renewing contracts.
  • Collaborating with operational service teams to help coordinate service completions on a weekly, monthly, and annual basis.

Skills and Experience Required

  • Experience in Account Management is essential.
  • A Sales background is desirable.
  • Mastering customer contacts, presentations, and negotiations, closing deals, tendering process, aftersales activities, and good knowledge of contractual and financial terms.
  • Good influencing skills.
  • Experience in maintaining and developing existing customer accounts.
  • Ability to communicate features, advantages, benefits, and value to different customers’ needs.
  • Ability to build rapport and collaborate with others within KONE and externally and drive performance / delivery.
  • Aptitude in networking and building relationships.
  • Adaptability and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication skills together with good written and spoken English.
  • Preference for Salesforce, SAP knowledge is desirable.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
