South & Central UK Territory
£37,000 + £5,000 Car Allowance + Bonus
Do you enjoy combining relationship-building, business development and hands-on commercial execution?
We're looking for a driven Sales & Business Development Manager to join a growing food business with a unique proposition in the premium retail sector. This is an opportunity to take ownership of an established territory while also identifying and winning new business across independent retailers, farm shops and garden centres.
Covering a territory stretching from Birmingham through the South Coast, across Wales and into the South East, you'll have the autonomy to manage your region, develop long-term customer relationships and make a visible impact on business growth.
About the Business
Our client supplies premium food products to a loyal network of independent retailers across the UK. Their brand is well-established within farm shops, garden centres and specialist food retailers, and demand continues to grow.
As part of a close-knit and entrepreneurial team, you'll have the opportunity to influence commercial strategy, develop existing accounts and identify new routes to market.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
