Regional Account Manager - Vending Solutions

Salary: £40k - £45k OTE £80k plus, car allowance, pension, laptop, mobile

Location: Office based/Field based

The Opportunity

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established vending solutions company for an experienced Regional Account Manager to join their commercial team. This role focused on managing and developing an established portfolio of business customers across a defined geographical region. You will be responsible for building strong customer relationships, protecting existing revenue, and identifying opportunities to grow accounts through additional products and services.

The successful candidate will be commercially driven, have experience building long-term account plans, confident dealing with customers at multiple levels, and comfortable working autonomously across a regional territory.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and develop a portfolio of existing B2B customer accounts across the region.
  • Build strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers.
  • Act as the main commercial point of contact for customers.
  • Identify and develop opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and account growth.
  • Conduct regular customer meetings and account reviews.
  • Manage contract renewals and support customer retention.
  • Understand customer requirements and work with internal teams to ensure excellent service delivery.
  • Resolve customer issues and manage commercial challenges effectively.
  • Meet and exceed agreed revenue, sales, and retention targets.
  • Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and customer information within the CRM.
  • Prepare proposals, quotations, and commercial presentations when required.
  • Monitor competitor activity and market developments within your territory.
  • Work collaboratively with operations, customer service, finance, and other internal departments.
  • Travel regularly throughout your assigned region to meet customers.

  • Previous experience in account management, key account, territory management, or business account development in vending solutions, car leasing, capital equipment, water solutions.
  • A proven track record of managing and growing B2B customer accounts.
  • Strong commercial awareness and the ability to identify sales opportunities.
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.
  • Experience managing contract renewals and customer retention.
  • A proactive and consultative approach to upselling.
  • The ability to manage your own diary and workload effectively.
  • Confidence working towards commercial targets and KPIs.
  • Strong organizational skills and good attention to detail.
  • Experience using CRM systems and Microsoft Office.
  • A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel throughout the region.
  • You must live within 1 hour's commute of Hemel Hempstead.
