Regional Account Manager - Data, Financial Crime & Risk Solutions

We are seeking an energetic, results-driven Regional Account Manager with a strong hunter mentality and 5-7+ years of enterprise sales experience to drive new business growth across our Data & Financial Crime practice.

This is an individual contributor role for a highly motivated sales professional who excels at prospecting, opening new enterprise accounts, building executive-level relationships, and closing complex consulting and technology engagements.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing new business opportunities and selling consulting and technology solutions focused on Financial Crime, Fraud Prevention, AML, KYC, Risk Analytics, Data Engineering, AI, and Cloud Transformation.

This role is heavily focused on 80% new business acquisition and 20% account growth and expansion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive new business development across assigned territories and target accounts.
  • Identify, prospect, qualify, and acquire new enterprise customers within Banking, Financial Services, Insurance (BFSI), FinTech, and other regulated industries.
  • Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline through outbound prospecting, networking, referrals, partnerships, and industry events.
  • Own the full sales cycle from lead generation and opportunity qualification through proposal development, negotiation, and contract closure.
  • Develop trusted relationships with C-level executives, business leaders, compliance executives, risk leaders, and technology stakeholders.
  • Position and sell consulting and technology solutions across:
    • Financial Crime & AML
    • Fraud Detection & Prevention
    • KYC & Customer Due Diligence
    • Sanctions Screening
    • Risk & Regulatory Compliance
    • Data Engineering & Analytics
    • AI/ML & Intelligent Automation
    • Cloud & Digital Transformation
  • Collaborate closely with solution architects, delivery teams, marketing, and leadership to develop winning client strategies and proposals.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline management, forecasting, and opportunity tracking within CRM systems.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to identify new opportunities.
  • Consistently achieve and exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets.
  • Represent the company at industry conferences, client meetings, and networking events.

Required Qualifications

  • 5-7+ years of successful B2B enterprise sales, account management, or business development experience.
  • Proven track record of acquiring new customers and exceeding sales quotas in a hunter-focused environment.
  • Experience selling consulting services, enterprise software, SaaS, cloud, data, analytics, AI, or financial technology solutions.
  • Strong experience engaging executive decision-makers and managing complex sales cycles.
  • Experience selling into Banking, Financial Services, Insurance (BFSI), FinTech, or highly regulated industries is strongly preferred.
  • Excellent consultative selling, negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to understand customer challenges and align solutions accordingly.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel as required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience selling Financial Crime, AML, Fraud, Compliance, Risk Management, Quantexa, Fircosoft, Actimize, or similar solutions.
  • Knowledge of Data Analytics, Data Engineering, AI/ML, Cloud, or Digital Transformation initiatives.
  • Experience selling Professional Services, Managed Services, or IT Consulting engagements.
  • Familiarity with enterprise sales methodologies such as MEDDICC, Challenger Sales, SPIN Selling, or Solution Selling.
  • Existing relationships within financial institutions, fintech organizations, or regulated enterprises across the region.

The ideal candidate is a highly motivated hunter who thrives on opening new doors, building executive relationships, and closing strategic opportunities. They are commercially driven, consultative in their approach, and passionate about helping organizations solve complex challenges in Financial Crime, Risk, Compliance, Data, and Digital Transformation.
