Regional Account Manager – Leading National F&B Business – LONDON
Up to £40,000 plus travel and commission
We are looking for an ambitious and commercially driven Regional Account Manager to join a leading UK F&B business with an exceptional portfolio of high-quality European products, with a particular focus on its outstanding wine and food offering and over 50 years in the industry!
This is a role for someone who thrives on winning new business, growing existing accounts and building strong, long-term customer relationships. You will take ownership of a defined portfolio of customers across the on-trade and selected retail channels, identifying opportunities to increase distribution, drive sales and strengthen the position of the company's F&B portfolio in the market.

Your Role:
- Own and develop a portfolio of regional accounts across the on-trade and selected retail customers.
- Deliver against ambitious sales, revenue and margin targets, with a clear focus on profitable growth.
- Identify and secure new business opportunities, from prospecting through to negotiation, onboarding and account development.
- Build trusted, commercially valuable relationships with key customers and decision-makers.
- Develop account plans that identify opportunities for increased distribution, ranging, volume and share of wallet.
- Drive the growth of the wine portfolio by identifying the right products and propositions for individual customers.
- Use customer, market and sales data to identify opportunities and inform commercial decisions.
- Present the company's portfolio confidently, demonstrating strong product knowledge and understanding of customer needs.
- Negotiate commercially attractive agreements while protecting value and margin.
- Work closely with internal teams across marketing, category, operations and customer service to deliver an excellent customer experience.
- Monitor competitor activity and market trends, bringing insight and opportunities back into the wider commercial team.
- Maintain accurate CRM and pipeline information, ensuring a strong focus on activity, conversion and sales performance.
- Represent the business and its portfolio at customer meetings, tastings, events and relevant industry activity.

Requirements:
- Proven experience in a B2B sales or account management role, preferably within F&B, wine, drinks or a related premium consumer goods environment.
- Ideally Italian speaking or a strong understanding of the language.
- A track record of winning new business and delivering sales growth.
- Experience managing a portfolio of customers and developing existing accounts.
- Strong commercial and negotiation skills, with the ability to identify and convert opportunities.
- Excellent relationship-building skills and the confidence to engage with customers at all levels.
- A genuine passion for wine, food and the wider hospitality and retail landscape.
- The ability to understand customer needs and translate them into commercially compelling solutions.
- A self-motivated, proactive approach with strong ownership and accountability.
- Excellent communication, presentation and organisational skills.
- The resilience and determination to pursue opportunities and consistently deliver against targets.
