Position Objective

The Regional Manager is responsible for the commercial development and strategic management of the assigned area for the sale of industrial rubber and PVC hoses, compact rubber sheets, and expanded rubber, managing both national and international customers. In the initial phase, the primary objective of the position is to further develop and structure the commercial presence in the area, expanding the existing customer base, in close coordination with the Sales Department.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and implement the regional sales plan in line with company objectives.
  • Develop and consolidate the customer portfolio (distributors, OEMs, manufacturing industry, construction, plant engineering, agricultural sector, etc.).
  • Identify and acquire new customers, further expanding and structuring the commercial presence already established in the area.
  • Manage business relationships with foreign customers and take part in meetings in English.
  • Analyze the reference market (trends, competitors, prices, new applications).
  • Negotiate contracts and framework agreements with strategic customers.
  • Collaborate daily with the Sales Department to define priorities, strategy, and sales reporting.
  • Monitor commercial KPIs: revenue, margins, volumes, product turnover.
  • Collaborate with the technical office and production for custom solutions and special projects.
  • Provide sales forecasts and the annual budget for the area.
  • Attend national and international trade fairs.
  • Ensure compliance with company commercial and credit policies.

Required Technical Skills

  • Knowledge of elastomeric materials (NR, SBR, NBR, EPDM, silicone, etc.).
  • Knowledge of industrial hose applications (compressed air, water, chemicals, abrasives, food, etc.).
  • Familiarity with industry regulations (REACH, food-grade certifications, industry standards).
  • Ability to read and interpret technical data sheets and product specifications.
  • Good command of CRM tools and the Office suite.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in sales roles in the rubber/plastics sector or industrial components (preferred but not mandatory; commercial development/customer acquisition experience in other B2B industrial sectors will also be positively considered).
  • Experience in customer management and territorial commercial development.
  • Excellent command of English, spoken and written (minimum B2 level), with the ability to handle negotiations and business correspondence independently.
  • Availability for travel within Italy for internal meetings, sales coordination and training activities, as well as occasional visits to customers.
  • Driving license B.
  • Degree in technical or economic disciplines (preferred).
