Are you an experienced Business Development Manager with a strong background in bridging finance? Do you enjoy developing broker relationships, generating new lending opportunities and building a strong regional presence?

Our client is a highly regarded specialist property finance lender with a strong appetite to lend, flexible underwriting and an established reputation across the intermediary market. Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint a Regional Account Managers to cover Central & North London, Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire and Cambridgeshire.

About the Role

This is a field-based position focused on originating and developing relationships with mortgage intermediaries, professional introducers and borrowers. You'll be responsible for generating new bridging finance opportunities, managing a healthy pipeline and acting as a trusted partner to your broker network.

Working closely with underwriting and internal sales teams, you'll play a key role in driving lending growth across your region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and grow lending opportunities across your designated territory.
  • Build and maintain relationships with brokers, introducers and borrowers.
  • Generate new bridging finance business and manage deals through to completion.
  • Maintain a consistent sales pipeline while achieving agreed targets.
  • Conduct regular face-to-face meetings and presentations with broker partners.
  • Provide guidance on products, lending criteria and broker portal functionality.
  • Manage enquiries efficiently and accurately update CRM records.
  • Attend industry events and networking opportunities.
  • Monitor market activity and competitor offerings, sharing insights internally.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and responsible lending requirements.

Skills & Experience

  • Proven business development experience within bridging finance, specialist lending or property finance.
  • Strong track record of achieving sales and lending targets.
  • Excellent relationship-building, communication and presentation skills.
  • Technical understanding of bridging finance products and lending structures.
  • Strong negotiation skills and commercial awareness.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
  • Self-motivated, organised and comfortable managing a regional territory.
  • Strong understanding of bridging finance.
  • Knowledge of FCA regulation, Responsible Lending and Anti-Money Laundering
