About the Role

We're looking for an experienced Accounts Payable professional to join our regional Accounts Payable team and help deliver an efficient, high-quality service across the European ARAP Shared Service Centre. You will play a key role in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of financial transactions, maintaining high service standards and compliance with financial regulations and company policies.

Working closely with regional stakeholders and local office Accounts Payable contacts, you will build strong working relationships, support policy implementation, provide operational cover where needed, and contribute to the ongoing development and continuous improvement of the European ARAP Shared Service Centre model, driving efficiency, accuracy and excellent service delivery across the function.

Role Responsibilities

  • Support and oversee daily activities of the Accounts Payable Regional team, ensuring consistent service delivery by maintaining standards and adhering to procedures within agreed timelines.
  • Provide operational cover and support during periods of team absence within the regional team and where necessary, across other accounts payable regional teams.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with regional local office Accounts Payable contact and stakeholders.
  • Liaise with stakeholders on policy implementation issues and escalate matters requiring policy-related decisions to the ARAP Regional Team Supervisor.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations, company policies, ISF requirements, and audit controls.
  • Support the implementation and continuous improvement of the European ARAP Shared Service Centre model.
  • Contribute to process improvements that enhance efficiency, accuracy, and service quality.

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience working in an accounts payable function
  • SAP experience is essential
  • Sound understanding of bookkeeping and accounts payable principles
  • Experience processing, posting and maintaining financial records accurately.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical skills and commitment to quality
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders across multiple locations
  • Fluency in English is required; additional European language skills would be highly advantageous.
