Regional Administrator, London

Salary: £31,500 per annum

Location: London/Hybrid

Hours: 35 hours per week. Permanent

About the Role

The Regional Administrator is at the centre of RIBA London’s day-to-day delivery, providing high-quality administrative and coordination support to the Regional Director and wider London team.

  • Help organise a busy programme of member, practice, student and public-facing activity
  • Support meetings, events and volunteer groups
  • Develop and manage regional social media channels and member communications
  • Keep records, budgets and systems accurate
  • Provide a responsive first point of contact for members, practices, partners and colleagues

This is a varied role for someone who enjoys bringing order to multiple priorities, building positive working relationships and helping a small team turn plans into well-run activity across London.

What are we looking for?

Essential

  • Experience of providing strong administration and/or project coordination in a busy team, with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Practical experience of supporting projects, meetings or events from planning through to delivery and follow-up.
  • Previous experience of working with social media, with the ability to assist with outward-facing communications.
  • Digital skills and the ability to maintain accurate records, contact data, documents and experience in basic financial administration.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to adapt communication style to suit different audiences.

Desirable

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data entry, analysis, and reporting, is required.
  • Experience in growth/retention/engagement environments, with a desire to help RIBA grow its member-base and deliver excellence in our member experience.
  • Experience of using content management systems and design software packages to create content, applying both copywriting skills and basic graphic design skills.

The role will require some travel and flexibility to work evenings and occasional weekends dependant on activity.
